Nền ẩm thực Việt Nam có gì? Ở miền bắc, nhờ ảnh hưởng của nước láng giềng Trung Quốc, người ta có xu hướng sử dụng nhiều nước tương hơn ở những nơi khác, trong đó nước mắm được sử dụng nhiều hơn. Các gia vị phổ biến khác trong ẩm thực Việt Nam bao gồm hạt tiêu đen (chủ yếu ở miền Bắc), ớt cay, nước cốt dừa, chanh, sả, me và đường mía, nhờ ảnh hưởng của Pháp, chúng ta cũng sử dụng măng tây và khoai tây,. Các phương pháp nấu khác nhau từ đun sôi hoặc luộc đến chiên hoặc nướng, xào bằng chảo và đũa là phổ biến.
