MY ACCIDENT

It was on my birthday. My parents gave me a wonderful black bike. It was so cool and I really liked it. In the afternoon, I rode my bike through the small forest near my house and I thought it was the best part of my birthday. I was so happy. Suddenly, a rabbit ran across the path. I tried to stop but I was too fast. Too late! I fell off the bike and landed among some bushes. Ouch! My right leg was hurt, I couldn't move. I shouted for help but there was no one nearby. I even didn't have a mobile to call my parents. Then there were strange noises from behind the trees and I saw someone. It was Pluto. He was looking for me. He called an ambulance and then I was taken to the nearest hospital. It was lucky for me. Now, my foot is in plaster and I can't walk to school. But that's not so bad.

MY RELAXATION

Hi! I'm Steve. It is summer now - the season I like best, because I have summer vacation. I feel very excited because I don't have to go to school, do homework, or get an examination. It's great!

It is the time for relaxation. How do I relax? I'll tell you. First of all, I read a lot of comics. I really love them. Then I feed rabbits in the garden, I bring them grass, cabbage and carrots. Then my family and I go to the beach. We swim and sunbathe there. It is such a pleasure. In the evening I water flowers and plants, or watch TV. I go to bed at around 11 p.m.

1. shouldn’t + động từ nguyên thể: không nên làm gì

She shouldn’t eat a lot of sweets because she has a toothache. 

(Cô ấy không nên ăn quá nhiều kẹo bởi vì cô ấy đang bị đau răng.)

2. Câu trúc câu mệnh lệnh, yêu cầu ai đó không được làm gì:

Don’t + động từ nguyên thể (+ tân ngữ)!

Don’t let your little sister play around the stove!

(Đừng để em gái cậu chơi gần bếp nhé!)

3. “Often” là một trạng từ chỉ tần suất, là một dấu hiệu của thì hiện tại đơn.

Cấu trúc câu khẳng định ở thì hiện tại đơn:

S + V + tân ngữ.

Chủ ngữ (S) trong câu này là “She”, là ngôi thứ 3 số ít nên động từ chính trong câu (surf) cần phải chia.

She often surfs the Internet in her free time.

(Cô ấy thường lướt mạng trong thời gian rảnh.)

4. Cấu trúc hỏi về tần suất ai đó làm việc gì:

How often + do/does + S + động từ nguyên thể?

Chủ ngữ (S) trong câu này là “your mother”, là ngôi thứ 3 số ít nên khi thành lập câu hỏi ta phải mượn trợ động từ “does”. 

How often does your mother do yoga?

(Mẹ cậu tập yoga thường xuyên như thế nào?)

5. Cấu trúc mời một cách lịch sự:

Would you like + to V?

Would you like to have dinner with me tonight?

(Cậu có muốn ăn bữa tối cùng mình vào tối nay không?)
